TH-K2AT amateur portable radio transceiver features a triumph of advanced engineering and compact design. Our product is compact enough to fit snugly in either pocket or palm, while it also offers all the features necessary to make operation simple and clear. In sharp contrast to others in this class, the smart navy-blue TH-K2AT amateur portable radio transceiver looks beautiful and performs beautifully. Despite its smart looks, our product is tough enough to survive the rigors of outdoor situation as well as deliver superb performance.

To fit the situation outdoors, this product is built tough to meet the stringent MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F standards for resistance to rain, vibration, shock and humidity. It also meets the international IP54 standard for dust and water resistance. Equipped with a large 13-segment LCD display with backlighting, our product provides excellent visibility to show the memory names and settings. Backlighting keys also makes operation easy at dark.

With a capacity of 100 memory channels, you can name them by up to 6 characters. In this case, the capacity of channels is reduced by half. 8 special function memories are used as well. To scan those channels, you can receive on either of two different frequencies by specifying a priority channel for scanning. Other scan functions are also provided such as VFO, MR, call, tone, CTCSS, DCS and program. With CTCSS of 42 sub-audible tone frequencies and DCS of 104 codes, our product could offer 1750 tone burst. In addition,  it could receive NOAA Weather Radio and warn you potential bad weather. Optional VOX function also enables you to perform a hand-free control. Moreover, with optional PG-4Y interface cable and free MCP-1A software, you can program our product to handle multiple memory channels and memory names. It is also convenient for you to copy the settings to another transceiver.

Supplied as standard is the environmentally friendly PB-43N Ni-MH battery. This battery offers higher capacity than a Ni-Cd battery thus the RF output could reach an impressive 5W. Speaker output is doubled to 400mW, ensuring clearer communications even in noisy environments A 13.8V DC power supply is also available. Our radio transceiver could operate during the charging process. Moreover, the charging is much faster than previous model. Besides, even shortened for portable issues, the 4-inch antenna still offers high gain.
